Live Scan is an inkless, electronic means of capturing fingerprints in a digitized format and then transmitting them to a state repository such as the Maryland State Police and/or the FBI. Fingerprints are then searched against a state criminal history database and/or the FBI criminal database (where applicable).
Real ink fingerprinting on Cards is available only at our Hagerstown location., and scheduling must be done by calling our office: LiveScan machines are not used. These background checks are usually completed by residents of Maryland applying to work in other states. If you are unsure, please call us at 301-790-4962 Ext. 300
Description: We offer a mobile option for our Fingerprinting Services throughout the State of Maryland. This option is available to groups of 10 or more people that need Fingerprinting services in locations other than our offices. We come to you and make the background check process that much easier.
All applicants are required to bring:

Optimal Biometrics Appointment Scheduler
Optimal Health Care, Inc. (OHC) is a Maryland certified LiveScan private provider authorized by COMAR Regulation 12.15.05 and the Criminal Procedure Article §10-221, Annotated Code of Maryland; and enforced by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, to submit fingerprints directly to the Maryland Criminal Justice Information System for the purpose of obtaining criminal history records checks.
All fingerprint technicians are certified by the State of Maryland, Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Information Technology and Communication Division Criminal Justice Information System Central Repository.
Criminal history record information obtained under this program is mailed directly to you (Individual Review) or to the agency(s) of your choice. This is based on the Agency number you provided at the time of fingerprintin
